Our detector concepts are developed with application in mind, not only publication. We hold international patent applications on our imaging detector architectures, and our dosimetric detector platform has been developed to a level where it can be adapted to specific measurement requirements.
We are open to:
- Licensing of patented detector technologies
- Joint development with industry partners, from concept evaluation through prototype characterization
- Contract measurement and characterization using our electronics development, dosimetry, and irradiation laboratories
- Consulting on detector selection, dosimetric methodology, and measurement design
Technology transfer is an established part of how this group works. Foundational work on networked dosimetric detection carried out at IMROH was transferred to Nucleometrix d.o.o., a spin-off company founded by the group's principal investigator, where it was developed into a working system through the ODIS project. The relationship between IMROH and Nucleometrix is formally regulated.
